Get people coming into your local business every single day with a coupon that gets delivered through a Facebook ad. Here’s another case study of a local business that we have a Facebook ad running for. We have it set up with a video ad and then we take people to Facebook Messenger to get a coupon. We made the video ad in about half an hour at the local business and the deal is for about 40% off at particular servicer, so it’s 29.99 instead of 49.99 we don’t even talk about the discount. We just say it’s a 29.99 $29 and 99 cents service instead of 49.99 it’s a service that is totally relevant to the summer months, so it’s perfect timing. In the video, we asked people to get the coupon to type in a word in the comments below and it automatically triggers a message that shows up in Messenger.
They just have to say bike one more time and then the the coupon gets delivered right in messenger, we use a third party app called ManyChat to deliver that coupon and set it all up. It’s free to use and it’s easy to use as well once you use it the first time, and here’s the kicker, every single day we get people typing the word in the comments. Every single day we get people in Messenger getting the coupon and every single day, which is the most important part, we get people coming into the store redeeming this coupon and getting the deal. We’re only spending about $5 a day on the ad, so it’s $150 a month and with the revenue he’s generating from the deal, they’re actually paying for the ad every single month and the bonuses that come on top of that. Well as you get people into Messenger, Many Chat keeps track of all the people in the Messenger list.
Then you can send broadcast messages to them later. You can send them more tips and tricks. You can send them reminders to use that coupon that they haven’t used yet. You can send them new coupons that you have later on. It’s a list that you can continue to talk to and engage with and get to know and of course market to down the road. Also they have over 25,000 views of this video, so we’re on a community of about 270,000 people. That’s a good chunk of people that are seeing this video every single day. Then using the Facebook ads tool called audiences, we can actually create a list of all those people that have watched that video so then we can remarket to again and why say market remarket. But you could also send out new new tips, new ideas, new product launches, and you can also send them advertising and promotional material as well.
And you can create an audience as well of all the people that engage with your page over the last few months. So all those people that are liking the posts that are sharing the posts that are commenting on the post and ending up in messenger, they get the coupon. You can also put them on a list of people that engage with the page and then send them stuff after as well. Again, you can remarket to them and all this for 150 bucks a month and you got to give a time for Facebook to do its thing. We launched it at the beginning of April and we consistently get people coming in. Sometimes there’s laws but then this weekend we had 11 people sign up in two days to get the coupon. Facebook has an algorithm that will determine when the ad gets seen, who does it, show it to, how many times and it optimizes does that to grow so it learns over time which person is sharing it, which person is liking it, which person is actually commenting and asking for the coupon, which person is going into messenger and actually engaging with us in messenger about the coupon.
They track all that and the optimize the ad to make it go to more and more people that are likely to take all those actions. And again, all this for 150 bucks a month for the ad and the ad’s paying for itself every month, and this is on a Facebook page that has pretty much been flat before, no posts on there. Even now, they’re still not posting as much as they should because that is part of their ads algorithm that if you engage with people on Facebook and you post periodically or post daily Facebook will reward you with better a better ad optimization. But even so, he still, the owners not doing a ton on Facebook, but the ads still working like this. So working great.
